Visannon maja cabin is located in the village of Yli-Muonio, in a scenic and peaceful spot on the shore of the Visantokoski Rapids of the Muonionjoki River. Visannon maja cabin is a versatile and an affordable choice for fishers!

The main building is made of timber and it has a spacious drawing room, a few bedrooms and two lavatories. The renovated and well-equipped kitchen has all the necessary cooking-ware. There are bunk beds there for 30 people. A smaller group might find the cabin with electric heating in the vicinity of the main building an excellent accommodation option. There are beds there for 13 people.
Right by the lake there is a sauna and a small sauna cabin, which can accommodate five people. At Visannon maja cabin there is also a traditional Lapp hut. Wide bunks line the walls of the hut and in the middle there is a big fireplace. The hut offers a great view of the fly-fishing spots of the Visantokoski Rapids. You can get to the fishing spots directly from the river banks near the sauna!
